Drastic Arctic Sea Ice Loss
And just as the IPCC is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, which is a great and important sign, some of their predictions are shown to be wrong. Wrong in a bad way, unfortunately. This report indicates that the arctic sea ice loss is much more dramtical than the worst case IPCC scenarios would suggest. Soon, only half of the ice of the 1979-1990 mean value will be left. The data was taken from satellite measurements and compared to the IPCC high CO2 scenario.
CarbonEquity even says
The IPCC suffers from a scientific reticence and in many key areas the IPCC process has been so deficient as to be an unreliable and dangerously misleading basis for policy-making.
Which should probably translate as: They acted cautiously, and should do the opposite!
But - unfortunately I can’t find out who or what CarbonQuity is, besides that it is an “activist network”.
