For Your Eyes and Ears: Future, Present and Past
First of all, something that lies in the future although the music is ready and I’m dying here waiting to hear it. I’m talking about the new Symphony X song that’s been released on their MySpace page. Not only does it deliver the usual Symphony X greatness, it might even be better! Watch out Porcupine Tree, your place on this year’s best album throne might be a in danger!
Speaking of the current number one, here is “Fear of a Blank Planet” by Porcupine Tree:
And since I’ve come to terms with the new Rush (”Snakes&Arrows”), and think it’s a really good but not overwhelming release. Or, as I have learned what a far cry is, it’s a far cry from their best album (Moving Pictures), but damn it’s a good one and I’m starting to love it like you can only love Rush!

I also bought an AC/DC album today, probably the first hard rock album I enjoyed in my life, must have been some time between the 6th and 8th grade…could be 15 years ago…so it’s the Razor’s Edge for me and one of my favourite AC/DC songs to close the circle future, present with the past: “Thunderstruck”:
