I’ve been using emacs for several years now, and although I know the basic commands and even some advanced, I also know I have only scratched the surface of the available commands. So I found this introduction (PDF) to be of value, it taught me some commands I didn’t know. It’s called “Living in emacs”. I won’t start emailing from emacs now, but I will remember some commands for quicker editing, like the kill-ring.
