Two things were clear after watching “A Scanner Darkly”:

a) It’s a grrrrrreat movie and really captures a Philip K. Dick world
b) My blog header image needs to be changed to the Scanner Darkly effect

So, while there is no ready filter for that (unless you’re a movie studio), so when I found this tutorial, I started working (using GIMP and only following the basic ideas of the tutorial). Of course, I could never reach a result such as this professional designer could, but I think that for my possibilities, it’s a quite good result. Looks not exactly like it should, but looks good nontheless. Needs some minor tweaking, but that will follow soon.
