Masterplan released a new video recently from their upcoming third album, “Mk. II” (because they have two new band members, singer and drummer). I have to say, it’s a good song, but it rather sounds like a dumbed down version of the formerly sensational Masterplan. Where are the tons of small ideas that made Masterplan work? There are some towards the end of the song, but overall it’s a rather plain rocker, yet with good melodies. Well, how good the other songs are, I’ll know by the end of the month…maybe I’ll get one of the first edition tin boxes of the CD
