Some time ago I wrote about an alternative to Windows Explorer called XYplorer. Unfortunately, it is not free anymore. I do not use Windows much, so obviously I needed a free alternative. I found it in xplorer² lite, the light version of this software is free for private and academic use, exactly what I need. I think it is a really good software, I especially like that it has two simultaneous windows, so that copying gets easy, and has lots of shortcuts to maneuver around fast. The pro version has more features that sound good, but I don’t usually need them. For a power user, they might be worth the money.
