Songs You Should Know #1: Mystic Force - Shipwrecked With The Wicked

Ok, I promised to to a song Top 100 you like T-_Bone just did, but I have to confess: I’m not able to. So, instead I thought to present some songs you might not know, but should.
We start with a song by the Progressive Metal combo Mystic Force, taken from their debut album from 1993, “Eternal Quest”.
The song starts with some synthesizer wave sounds, and then we are off to a light-headed yet metallic into riff. The singer has a very pleasant voice. First, some short verses and quickly into the refrain: Shipwrecked with the Wicked, washed upon a nowhere land, shipwrecked with the wicked, never to be seen again. Then, just before it might get boring, the second refrain takes up speed and then breaks again into an amazing progressive instrumental part, with great work on all instruments, that still manages to keep the mood of the song going. Then back to strong and powerful vocals, a reprise of the first riff, and into the final refrain.
The rest of the album is strong as well, a very good Prog Metal piece that reminds of the first Fates Warning masterpieces, I don’t know if you can pick still buy it, I saw used copies available on Amazon!
