If it is the case that Web 2.0 is called like that not only as a version number but as to indicate 2-dimensional web, thus more interactivity, it’s still more in the 1.5 region. It offers mostly stuff to read but possibilities for interactivity, tagging, commenting. The problem is that these are often not very sophisticated.
What I am dreaming of in the News segment is something more - Newsvine is a really good service with some additional functions compared to normal news sites. But what I really miss is a surplus in information, not in communication. I think that most news reports only answer a third of the questions I have about them. I am dreaming of a way to post these questions, then the next journalist or someone tries to find out more about that topic.
